menu | ai challenge | weekly update
🔙Last week:
1. Continued experimenting with shaders. As a result, I temporarily left a slightly pixelated foggy snow.
2.Started experimenting with AI for creating UI. It turned out interesting - I was able to explain how and what needed to be done, and it tried to creatively approach the layout and implementation - in the video about the spinning menu.
3. Why it's extremely important to finish the menu - because it's the simplest element in the UI with minimal logic, making it the easiest to experiment with colors and fonts. I'm currently trying to find a unified style for the game to tie everything together.
4.Started rethinking the menu, and it seems there will be two - for touch devices (tentatively for mobile) and for non-touch devices. I thought it would be good to start with what's convenient. I concluded that I should start with keyboard controls - because it turned out that if there are bindings in the game, it's super convenient.
